Why we love it
A flavourful tomato passata made with organic tomatoes grown in Emilia Romagna and put in the jar without the addition of any additive or preservative, just tomatoes. The tomato passata is then pasteurized in the bottle, a sort of the old "bain-marie" of our grandmothers.
This a rich, tasty organic tomato passata that can be used as it is, cold on a warm bruschetta with some extra virgin olive oil and garlic, or in the preparation of tomato based pasta sauces, from lasagne to bolognese, or on a pizza.
Tomatoes, on all its shapes and forms is one of the pillar of the Mediterranean diet, from north to south, and this organic passata will bring memories of Italian trips and holidays.
