Join us in Wakefield for a wonderful afternoon in company of Mr Syrah.

Syrah or Shiraz as it known in the new world, is one of the most planted grapes in the world and its wines are found everywhere and everyone loves it.

Despite being one grape, even if the New World Shiraz is considered to a different grape all together, there are dozens of styles, either blended or its own, and in our “afternoon with Mr Syrah” will taste some of them.

Travelling the length of Italy, from Sicily to Aosta Valley, we will taste 6 different wines 3 blends and 3 100% Syrah as to appreciate the terroir and its contributions to other grapes. The afternoon will consist of a guided tasting of 6 Syrah wines lasting approximately 2 hours. The venue will be confirmed closed to the date but it will be in Wakefield city centre
