This Montepulciano D’Abruzzo Colline Teramane DOCG is named after the ancient name of the winery’s owner town, Notaresco.
This Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Colline Teramane is a blend of selected Montepulciano grapes from three different vineyards fermented in 500L first- and second-passage French oak barrels and then aged in wood for 12 months resulting in a great Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOCG, with a complex nose with hints of blackberry and blueberry, then cloves, lavender and rosemary. The palate is elegant, full, perfectly balanced, soft, with a long finish. This wine is the perfect accompaniment for spicy dishes and mature cheeses.
