Why we love it
Custoza is a little known white wine made in the Custoza area. in the outskirt of the city of Verona, Veneto, mainly because of the very small size of the appellation but when made properly, it can be a really good wine and a good alternative to the more famous cousin the Pinot Grigio delle Venezie.
This organic Custoza has a fresh nose with hints of yellow fruit. On the palate is fresh, refreshing, elegant, balanced, with peachy flavour and a very long finish. A delicious white wine, it was rated as the "best of the bunch" in a wine expert tasting of the appellation. Custoza is the perfect choice for an aperitif or to accompany canapes and light fish courses.

A real favorite of ours, from years of visiting Italy but proving harder to find in the Uk. A well rounded white wine - not acidic - easy to drink with food or on its own
