For over 100 years, the Volpe family has devoted itself to tending the fertile fields of Puglia, cultivating not only fruit trees and vines but above all olive groves that define the soulful character of this storied landscape.
The olive trees of Suberito flourish under the warm Mediterranean sun and salty breezes typical of the Apulian countryside, where the generous climate and rich soil create ideal conditions for robust, healthy groves. Spanning over 20 hectares, these trees - native varieties including Ogliarola Garganica, Coratina, and Bella di Cerignola - are meticulously cared for by Sabino and his son Alessandro, who represent the latest generation of growers carrying forward a legacy of sustainable, organic agriculture.
The landscape itself plays a fundamental role in Suberito’s identity: gently rolling fields near the Adriatic coast, punctuated by olive trees whose roots reach deep into Puglia’s calcareous earth, produce fruit that reflects the robust terroir and centuries-old farming wisdom, all nurtured with the family’s commitment to organic cultivation.
