Amaretto is a worldwide famous Italian liqueur, first created in Saronno, near Milan, with its name meaning “slightly bitter” in Italian, now produced all over the country and abroad, there are plenty of versions of Amaretto, with the cheaper options being overly sweet and made using industrial, non natural, flavouring.
Amaretto, like its name says, is a sweet, with a slightly bitter finish, liqueur, flavoured with almonds and our craft Amaretto liqueur, made in Tuscany by a family run distillery, follows the original recipe created by the distillery’s founder over 100 years ago and only uses natural ingredients.
Amaretto is a very versatile liqueur, not only it can be drunk on its own at the end of the meal, but it is a widely used ingredient for cocktails and cooking, from meat to dessert, there are plenty of recipes having Amaretto as one of the ingredients.
