Why we love it
This is a superb classic method sparkling wine produced with Pinot Nero grape from a single vineyard located at circa 350m asl fermented on its lees for between 24/36 months depending on the vintage, a so called "blanc de noir", a white sparkling wine made with red grapes. Named "miniera", Italian for mine, due to the vineyard being located near a former mine this classic method sparkling wine brut is elegant with a delicate nose, dry, perfect as an aperitif or to accompany delicate flavoured dishes. An all meal wine.
The artisan who made it
