Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Superiore Colline Teramane, Nicodemi (75cl)

Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo is not your usual rose and is very little known outside Abruzzo’s.

Made with organic Montepulciano grapes grown in the heart of the DOCG Colline Teramane appellation area, this Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo has a darker tone of pink compared to all other rose’ wines due to the grape's skin colour. This Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo has a fruity nose, with notes of strawberry and pomegranate. Perfectly balanced, with enough structure to pair important dishes as well as perfectly pairing pizza or tomatoes based pasta, it has a mineral finish. This Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo is a very versatile wine that excels with charcuterie.

Fattoria Nicodemi is located in Notaresco, in the heart of the Colline Teramane DOCG zone. The vineyards, at about 300 metres in altitude, protected by the Gran Sasso mountain and only 10 kilometres from the sea, enjoy an exceptional microclimate. The winery follows organic practices, without chemical herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers. Nicodemi is also the story of Alessandro and Elena, brother and sister, that took over in 2000 from their dad who followed the steps of their granddad. Nicodemi is the story of their family.
