The Easter dove cake is the traditional Italian Easter cake, shaped into a dove, hence the name Colomba in Italian.

Our Easter dove cake is artisanally made using only the best ingredients and following the authentic recipe, starting with the mother yeast, closely guarded, and a long and slow dough rising process lasting 36 hours resulting in a soft, fragrant and light Colomba.

The Easter dove cake is made following the same process as the panettone and the classic version of the colomba has candied oranges and almonds, covered by a sugar base icing, another delightful traditional Italian cake. Our artisan Easter dove cake doesn't contain any emulsifier or preservative.
