An extra virgin olive oil DOP Dauno made from Apulian olive varieties manually harvested from very old olive trees located in the Gargano natural park in the north of Apulia. This DOP Dauno extra virgin olive oil has very low acidity, medium to high fruitiness with a marked peppery aftertaste.
This is an extra virgin olive that should be used to add the final touch to any dish, from salads to risotto, from soups to red meat.

The Clemente family goes back to the end of 17th century, when Bernardino started as olive oil merchant, Apulia was and still is famous for its olive trees and olive oil. Fast forward 3 centuries, several generations and the family is still there, the Olearia is now managed by the 2 brothers and 2 sisters, still following Bernardino ideals and philosophy. Olearia Clemente not only has some of the best located olive tree orchards in the whole region of Apulia, but they also have a state of the art mill to ensure that once the olives are harvested, they are immediately pressed to guarantee the quality of their olive oils.
