Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Nicodemi (75cl)

This is a typical Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, an every day wine, the wine that you would find on the table if you were visiting a "abruzzese" for lunch, a very versatile wine, it goes well with a lot of dishes of the Mediterranean diet and Abruzzo cuisine, from pizza to pasta, from lasagne to pasta alla chitarra, and it offers outstanding value for money.

This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo has a big fruity nose, with crunchy tannins. On the palate is lively, fruity, medium bodied.

Fattoria Nicodemi is located in Notaresco, in the heart of the Colline Teramane DOCG zone. The vineyards, at about 300 metres in altitude, protected by the Gran Sasso mountain and only 10 kilometres from the sea, enjoy an exceptional microclimate. The winery follows organic practices, without chemical herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers. Nicodemi is also the story of Alessandro and Elena, brother and sister, that took over in 2000 from their dad who followed the steps of their granddad. Nicodemi is the story of their family.
