Trebbiano D'Abruzzo Superiore, Nicodemi (75cl)

A single vineyard Trebbiano d’Abruzzo Superiore made with grapes from a 40-year-old vineyard. The age of the vines and the location of the vineyard produce a wine with complexity and elegance, with minerality and tanginess.

Matured on the lees for 6 months to add complexity and structure, the wine has a complex nose with floral and fruity notes and a long, lingering flavour. Perfectly balanced closes with a mineral finish.

Excellent for rich fish dishes like monkfish and recommended with mushroom recipes, grilled polenta, cheese.

Fattoria Nicodemi is located in Notaresco, in the heart of the Colline Teramane DOCG zone. The vineyards, at about 300 metres in altitude, protected by the Gran Sasso mountain and only 10 kilometres from the sea, enjoy an exceptional microclimate. The winery follows organic practices, without chemical herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers. Nicodemi is also the story of Alessandro and Elena, brother and sister, that took over in 2000 from their dad who followed the steps of their granddad. Nicodemi is the story of their family.
