An organic chutney made with pears cooked at low temperature, concentrating the fruit without the use of pectin, with the addition of the Modena Balsamic Vinegar IGP once cooking process end.

Made with Williams pear that are naturally rich in fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, potassium and copper this pear and balsamic vinegar organic chutney is ideal on all types of cheeses, as a final touch on a risotto or on top of an ice cream.

This organic chutney do not contain any additive or preservative and it is suitable for gluten intolerant

The artisan who made it

Located in the territory of Savignano sul Panaro, a small town of 9,000 inhabitants in the province of Modena, Emilia Romagna, the Punto Verde farm extends over 10 hectares, cultivated by combining tradition with the most advanced techniques of organic agriculture.

Cherries, , plums, apricots, pears, apples and peaches are only some of the fruit grown, together with strawberries, figs, pumpkins. The philosophy guiding the cultivation is respect for nature and biodiversity. The farm is owned by the Castiglioni family, five generations of organic farmers.

Their organic fruit and vegetables are then used in their recipes, from juices to chutneys to jams, secretly kept, recipes going back decades, handed down generation to generation.
