Why we love it
This Lacrima di Morro d'Alba, made with 100% Lacrima grapes, comes from the best vineyards in Belvedere Ostrense and San Marcello in the province of Ancona.
The wine has a ruby red colour and a distinguished floral scent, of rosehip and spices.
It is full, elegant, medium bodied flavour, which enhances aromas.
The artisan who made it
The Marche is a region where growing grapes is relatively simple due to the perfect climate, with scenic mountains and a calming sea to protect the vines. Regardless of these ideal surroundings, Luciano Landi and his sons, as well as his father before him, decided they wanted to aim for quality rather than quantity and decided to concentrate their efforts in only a few hectares of vineyards from which they grow native grapes such as the Verdicchio and Lacrima di Morro d’Alba but also Syrah and Montepulciano for their top wines.
