Why we love it

The canaiolo grape is very often found in blends, the most famous one is the Chianti, but rarely vinified on its own for many reasons, mainly because it is a difficult grape to handle and require plenty of attention and work. Gabriele has succeeded where many have failed.

Following a totally natural approach of fermenting the grapes, from organically managed vineyards, in terracotta amphorae using natural yeasts the results is a great natural wine, with plenty of fruit on the nose, elegant, with a nice freshness, perfect for grilled meat, charcuteries and mature cheese.
