This Sambuca was made using the old recipe (and according to the law): using star Anise. The oils are, then, added to pure alcohol as well as a concentrated solution of sugar which gives it its characteristic taste.
This is a truly versatile product. It is normally drunk on its own as a shot or in premium cocktails, mixed drinks. However, it goes perfectly with ice and coffee beans.
