Arancino is an Italian liqueur similar to Limoncello that follows the same process but using orange zest instead of lemon zest, and the oranges for Morelli come from Sicily, the famous Sicilian blood oranges. The ingredients used in the production of the Arancino are alcohol, oranges, and cane sugar, no preservatives or additives, and Morelli uses a recipe that has been handed down from generation to generation.
The Morelli distillery was possibly the first distillery to produce Arancino in Italy and in fact, their Arancino has been winning awards for decades now, including the World Spirit Competition in the category "liqueur", it is fantastic Arancino liqueur.
This Arancino, in a 50cl bottle, is made leaving the zest of Sicilian oranges to macerate in pure alcohol for several days until the color and flavours are released, water and cane sugar are then added and the Arancino is ready to be enjoyed chilled, after a meal or in a sunny afternoon or can also be used in the preparation of cocktails or in cooking recipes, especially desserts such Tiramisu or cakes with fruit to add an extra kick and flavour.
Due to its alcohol content, 32 abv, the Arancino can be kept in the freezer and won't freeze, try it as a Spritz, with Prosecco and a splash of soda, or over ice with one of our tonics
Under the current generation, the Liquorificio, distillery, Morelli, originally called the Antica Grapperia Toscana, has been going from strength to strength, producing liqueurs and spirits of the highest quality. The credo of this Tuscan distillery is the belief in using only the best natural ingredients for its products and using the family recipes they have used for centuries that have resulted in them winning a large number of awards, not only for their grappa, but also for their delicious Limoncello
