Amaretto is a worldwide famous Italian liqueur, first created in Saronno, near Milan, and its name in Italian means “slightly bitter”.
Amaretto is a sweet, with a slightly bitter finish, liqueur, flavoured with almonds. Our craft Amaretto liqueur follows the original recipe created by the Morelli’s founder over 100 years ago and uses only natural ingredients. There are plenty of versions of Amaretto, with the cheaper options being overly sweet and made using industrial, non natural, flavouring.
Amaretto is a very versatile liqueur, not only it can be drunk on its own at the end of the meal, but it is a widely used ingredient for cocktails and cooking, from meat to dessert, there are plenty of recipes that use Amaretto.
