This organic IGP Sicily extra virgin olive oil is a blend of Nocellara del Belice, Biancolilla and Gioconda, this last an olive variety typical of the province of Agrigento that has almost completely disappeared due to its poor yield but it makes this extra virgin olive oil unique, softening the two most famous varieties.
Made from olives manually harvested and immediately cold pressed at the beginning of October, this organic extra virgin olive oil has a very low acidity, a bright green color and a nose with hints of green tomato, cut grass and freshly chopped olive.

Terre di Zaccanello is a family run olive mill that goes back three generations, when Alfonso, the grandfather of the current generation started working as oil merchant and bought the first hectares of olive grove.
Today is Federica, who, after studying law abroad, decided to go back in her native land and continue the family tradition, together with Giulia and Alfonso, her sister and brother.
The olive grove, organically cultivated, from which the extra-virgin olive oil is produced, is located in the small village of Racalmuto, near the city of Agrigento. The olive varieties cultivated are native to Sicily and are the ones allowed in the IGP Sicily blend, Nocellara del Belice, Biancolilla, Gioconda and Bella, producing a unique extra virgin olive oil.
