Why we love it
An organic orange and ginger jam made with oranges cooked at low temperature together with ginger. Our orange and ginger jam not only is made with organically grown oranges and ginger but it is prepared with 200gr of fruit for 100gr and 40gr of sugar without the addition of any pectin against your average "artisan" jam prepared with 55gr of fruit per 100gr and 60gr of sugar and do contain pectin; the difference is in the fruit: eat the fruit, no the sugar.
This orange and ginger organic jam is excellent on bread, croissants or toasts for a tasty snack. Also ideal on all types of cheeses and white meats. This organic jam is rich in vitamin C and thanks to the ginger, it is antiemetic, digestive and anti-inflammatory.
Our jams do not contain traces of peanuts, other nuts, sesame, egg and gluten
The artisan who made it
Located in Emilia Romagna, in the province of Modena, in a natural oasis, the Punto Verde, “green point” in Italian, farm extends over 10 hectares of land cultivated by combining tradition with the most advanced techniques of organic agriculture.
Wife and husband, Chiara and Manuele, their daughter Laura and their families, grow cherries, plums, apricots, pears, apples and peaches only to mention a few, together with strawberries, figs, pumpkins all according to the organic philosophy, fruit and vegetables that are used in their products, from juices to chutneys to jams to tomato sauce, following old family recipes, secretly kept, handed down generation to generation.
Punto Verde is a small farm and their production follow the seasons, respecting the nature and biodiversity.
