Description
Made with grapes obtained from vineyards between 20 and 25 years old, this Lugana is a perfect example of a well made Lugana and the only one that can, by law, use the word “Sirmione” in its label to testify the location of the vineyards. The Lugana is the characteristic wine of the Garda Lake. With a floral nose, with hints of peach and banana, in the mouth is fresh, refreshing, with a bitter almond aftertaste.Producer
In 2011 the Winery Avanzi has celebrated 80 years of life and history on the west side of Lake Garda, in Manerba. Armed with nearly a century of tradition, passion and experience, is now the third generation that continues what the Cavalier Avanzi had started in the 30s of '900. Their love and passion for wine, make them producing only wines that are not only perfect but also expression of the land where they come from. This what their brochure says.When I met Nicola Avanzi, third generation, and tasted their wine I fall in love with them immediately, they had all we were looking for. The other thing that told me they were what we were looking for was the enthusiasm he had and it was a pleasure talking to him about wine, I knew he was one of us... passion, enthusiasm and good wines.
