Description
An outstanding, amazingly round, balanced Gewurztraminer made only from selected grapes from vineyards located in the town of Bolzano from the Alto Adige region in the North East of Italy. Elegant on the nose with aromas of roses, cinnamon and nutmeg; full-bodied but lively, rich and, with a creamy texture and a vibrant dash of acidity, and a long finish.Producer
The Egger-Ramer estate’s first appearance in official deeds and records dates to 1880.The estate is located in the district of Gries Bolzano in the Italian wine sector South Tyrol (Area Trentino-Alto Adige ).They are a family run estate which has been handed down from father to son.
The philosophy of the Egger-Ramer Family, in the vineyards as well as in cellar, is to produce high quality wines using only native grapes. The result is wines with an unmistakable character.
