The Azienda Agricola La Farra is a family run estate situated between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, in the DOCG area of the Prosecco di Valdobbiane.The Nardi family, who owns and work in the La Farra vineyards, has been making wine for several generations. In order to produce high quality grapes, the family takes care of all the various production phases:pruning, cutting vine-shoots to a few buds, careful choice of harvest time, whilst the harvest is always carried out by hand. The La Farra’s wines represent the perfect example of tradition and modern techniques.

We tried this as one of three La Farra Prosecco wines we sampled when choosing wine for our son's wedding. This was good, but too citrus for me. The Valdobbiadene and especially the Millesimato (which we eventually chose for the wedding) were better, but then they cost more. If you can, pay the extra and go for the Valdibbiadene, it really is worth the extra £1.60.
