Made from grapes harvested from an old, single vineyard, of Lagrein this wine is then aged for one year in small French barrels. The result is a wine produced in very limited quantity, with a complex nose with vanilla and red fruits hints, in the mouth is full, smooth, with plenty of flavour and a long aftertaste

The Egger-Ramer estate’s first appearance in official deeds and records dates to 1880.The estate is located in the district of Gries Bolzano in the Italian wine sector South Tyrol (Area Trentino-Alto Adige ).

They are a family run estate which has been handed down from father to son.

The philosophy of the Egger-Ramer Family, in the vineyards as well as in cellar, is to produce high quality wines using only native grapes. The result is wines with an unmistakable character.
