The history of the Rivetto family begins towards the end of the nineteenth century. It all started in a little grocery boutique in the charming little village of Asti in the Piedmont region of Italy. One day the Great Grand father Giovanni who was a wine connoisseur was out taking a little stroll in the countryside about 25-30km away from Asti. He spotted the hills of Langhe and his heart was taken. He found the perfect spot for him to follow his passion of making wine
Their philosophy is to enhance the intrinsic characteristics of their grapes through new technologies.
The temperature-controlled fermentation preserves the scents in their entirety and creates the balance of their distinctive wines.
The wine is stored in steel tanks and aged in French oak barrels.
