Description
This Vino Nobile di Montepulciano made from only the best Canaiolo e Prugnolo gentile grapes, Sangiovese clones, is a big red for quality, body, structure. Made with grapes grown on the hills of Montepulciano, Tuscany, this Tuscan red is an elegant wine with a grainy red colour and a delicate, but intense, aromas of chocolate, leather' spice, eucalyptus and vanilla. Producer
Godiolo farm is a family managed estate. The farm has selected the finest Prugnolo Gentile, variety of the sangiovese grosso, seeking a low production in favour of creating a high quality product.This philosophy applied in the harvesting process, which is carried out manually, in small cases to prevent the grapes (acini) from being crushed. The vineyards are partly more than 40 years sold that produces low quantity but of high quality and partly 20 years old.
