Description

This Lagrein is an excellent interpretation of the grape with a deep ruby colour and a nose of violets and plums with sandalwood scents. Fresh, lively with a clean acidity and smooth sweet tannins. Made with selected grapes from vineyards located in the centre of Bolzano, Gries, from the Egger Ramer family and aged in large wood. The Lagrein is a native grape of the Alto Adige

Producer

The Egger-Ramer estate’s first appearance in official deeds and records dates to 1880. They are a family run estate which has been handed down from father to son.

The philosophy of the Egger-Ramer Family, in the vineyards as well as in cellar, is to produce high quality wines using only native grapes. The result is wines with an unmistakable character.
