Description

Made with 100% cabernet franc grapes from vineyards located in Friuli, in the Colli Orientali area, this unique red wine, has a distinctive herbaceous nose with penetrating raspberry scents that as the wine matures evolve into a complex sweet-smelling fragrance. In the mouth is vibrant, full of flavour and the characteristic bittery aftertaste

Turning into the hilly tourist road from Ipplis toward a soft rise, you come to the centre of the Azienda Agricola Scubla that looks out over the vineyards. But, it is this rich soil that plays a leading role characterising this area and its wine.

Roberto Scubla's estate was established in 1991 by combining some existing old vineyards to which new plantings were added, bringing the total grape-growing area to about ten hectares spread over the slopes of a gentle, sun-drenched hill in the southern part of the "Colli Orientali" Region, the Eastern Hills of Friuli.
