This barolo, one of the great Italian reds, is the perfect emblem of a fantastic vintage, the 2000. Extremely clean and fresh, with tar and berry aromas, a full bodied palate with fine tannins and an elegant finish. Producer

The history of the Rivetto family begins towards the end of the nineteenth century. It all started in a little grocery boutique in the charming little village of Asti in the Piedmont region of Italy.

One day the Great Grand father Giovanni who was a wine connoisseur was out taking a little stroll in the countryside about 25-30km away from Asti. He spotted the hills of Langhe and his heart was taken. He found the perfect spot for him to follow his passion of making wine
