The people behind our products
There will not be Italyabroad.com without the people that make the products we import, our “vignaioli” and “artigiani”, without them we will never be able to offer you the quality and authenticity we do. All our products, whether food or wine, are made by small, passionate producers, family run, that have been doing it for generations; we do not, and I repeat that, import from factories or bottlers and we will never do.
We have a fantastic relationship with every one of our suppliers, I am proud to say that we are friends; we know all about them, their family and they know everything about us, we are one big family, and we all look after each other and trust each other. This is what makes us unique, there is no other importer that has the same relationship with their suppliers, we do not deal with marketing/export departments, we talk directly to the producers and we work together to offer you always the best at the best possible price.
All our producers respect the environment and make their products without the use of any additive or preservative and very limited use of chemical in the vineyards or field, and only using the best and finest ingredients, from only the best grapes for their wines to using extra virgin olive oil in our preserves and not cheap, low quality ones and this is evident in their taste not only by reading the ingredients list.
